FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking experienced Financial Accountants to join their finance team. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the financial management and reporting functions of the business, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and effective financial controls.

• SAIPA or AGA (SA) qualification.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years' relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns where applicable.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with audit preparations and respond to audit queries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and processes.
